Medico della Peste

lol I started this five months ago, have some progress.

….what??

You have really beautiful handwriting, I love your capital letters.

My head just exploded.

Fun fact: if I don’t write in all caps, I can’t read my own handwriting.

This is the last photo that turned out okay, and even so, it’s terrible.  Sometime this year I’m going to look into replacing my camera.

Still, as blurry as it turned out, I can’t not post this.  This character is like a son to me, moreso than any of the other several dozen I’ve written over the years, and this is probably the best representation I’ve ever drawn of him.

Someday, I’ll post a clearer copy when I have a better camera.

A sketch from Halloween.

Some sketches of the Short-faced Bear, an extinct species that was worshiped by prehistoric peoples because of its power and size.  It lived in North America and grew as tall as 15 feet standing on its hind legs.  It went extinct 11,000 years ago, probably because its prey was dying out.  It is one of the Pleistocene megafauna that roamed before homo sapien hunters began to wipe out anything that frightened them.

I have several pages of doodles trying to interpret what one might have looked like for reasons.

The top one might get its own post later.

I’m actually really mad that this is one of the few that turned out okay.

Just a sketch of different characters’ nose shapes.

Earlier this year I tried to post some of my sketchbook doodles but my camera refused to focus properly.  I tried again today with the same results.  Pretty sure my camera is shot.  Still, I’m going to look through the photos I took and see if any of them are even semi-presentable because it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything.  Good news though, I’m drawing on my tablet today so pretty soon I should have non-blurry art again to post either later today or tomorrow.

Important side note:

Since I’ve got a comprehensible theme now, I was thinking of posting my commission prices on tumblr.  If you would be interested in that, let me know because that’s just a passing thought at the moment and likely won’t happen for a while.

I have blurry, badly-lit photos to look through now, love you guys, bye.

Some Peter Davison love for Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary <3
Those of you who watched Time Crash, here you are.  This is honestly probably the last show I watched, but I remember Davison from my older brother’s recordings of 80s episodes.

I was running late, but I drew this for a friend who was having a celebration on his writing blog and now that today is today, I am posting it.  Happy Who Day!
